Live Events + Workshops + Private Classes in the LA Area and Beyond

Live drawing Pop-Ups

If you’re looking for someone to draw live at your event, I’m your gal! I have drawn watercolor pencil pet portraits at several businesses in the LA area. They are monotone (to increase the speed at which I can paint), normally in black and white but we can switch up the color to match the branding of your event.

How does it work?

  • I’ll come set up my spot, all the materials are included,

  • Attendees can AirDrop/email me or hand me hard copies of their desired photo,

  • And I draw them on the spot! Normally I can fit 4-6 pet portraits per hour (at 10 to 15 minutes each)

I recommend booking a live drawing event that is between 2-4 hours (with 2 hours being the minimum). For events 3 hours or longer, I may need a stretch/snack break or to bring an assistant with me to help with set up.

For live event drawing, I start at $200/hour with a $50+ travel fee if it’s 10 miles or more from my home base. For more detailed pricing or events outside of the LA-area, please inquire for more info at the button below.

Group Workshops

Looking to host an artsy activity at your organization? Sounds great! I offer a whole host of workshops at varying difficulty levels including:

  • Watercolor 101 - where we cover the basics of the medium,

  • Watercolor Brunch or Pizza Party - where we eat and paint from a spread of tasty food that I supply,

  • Watercolor Landscapes - where we draw simple, silhouetted forests,

  • Watercolor Pencil Pet Portraits - where attendees can supply their own pet photos to draw from,

  • Colored Pencil Mylar Balloons - where we draw from real life party balloons,

  • Colored Pencil Botanical Drawings - where we draw from a still life bouquet,

  • And so much more!

Pricing varies depending on the workshop choice and group size. Workshops can be held virtually over Zoom or in person. Please inquire via email for more specific pricing and let me know what you’re thinking of and where you are located (if you’re looking to host an in person workshop).

Private Classes

Private one-on-one or group classes for 4 people or less are available on a case by case basis over Zoom or in person. I offer private classes in watercolor, colored pencil, or charcoal in my signature realism style with a subject matter of your choosing!

How does it work?

  • Please know that previous art experience is not required! We can cover the very beginnings if you’d like.

  • Let me know what you’re interested in learning how to draw/paint. I can either use a supplied photo (eg. your house, dog, etc.) or supply photo options for you to choose from (eg. a tropical landscape, a yellow rose) I will also supply a drawing template.

  • I’ll send a supply list for your chosen medium and subject matter. Depending on the medium, I may be able to sell you a material kit!

  • During the class, we’ll break down the subject matter together in easy, bite sized steps. I will paint along with you.

  • Questions are always encouraged and I’m happy to answer follow up questions post-class via email.

Each private class is minimum 2 hours long at a starting rate of $125/hour. There may be a travel/set up fee for in person classes. Depending on your subject matter and experience, we may not always finish the piece in one class. To create a piece from start to finish together, I may recommend a two part class over the course of a week.

During in-person events, I may attend/lead the event masked - depending on my comfort level, the comfort level of the attendees, and the current numbers.
