My First TV Appearance
Look, mom, i’m on tv!
NBC4 LA and the California Live crew came to film at These Hands Maker’s Collective a few weeks ago and I got to be on tv! I originally just came in early to work on my commission and hide behind my bookshelf quietly but the studio owner, Denise, generously offered to give me a shout out during the segment. They came to showcase our classes and Rachel from Thunder Textile just killed the ice dyeing and shibori demonstrations!
Big thanks to Denise and Rachel and the crew for letting me creep in the background! It was pretty cool to be on tv and even cooler to see my products showcased front and center.

The Watercolor Palette Puzzle and Roses painting were featured front and center on the bookshelf in the video and they are both still available for purchase! Long time, no blog
I haven’t been quite as good at keeping up with the blog since I took a little vacation earlier this year but I’m excited to get back into it. This seemed like an extra fun first post of the year to share. Hopefully the rest of 2023 will have equally fun updates to post about :)
