About This Painting:
This drink is a favorite of Maggie’s (and my husband)! It’s a nice change up from the standard hot day coffee drink - a little something special. It’s the LaCroix drinker’s iced coffee. And as someone who likes neither black coffee nor LaCroix, I thought I wouldn’t like this at all until I tried one and was pleasantly surprised by how fun it is. A fun fact I’ve noticed while painting: coffee is never just brown. It always leans scarlet orange or eggplant purple or even a dark hunter green. The electric orange and yellow paint colors I used in this piece might just surprise you :)

About the Coffee Date Collection:
This painting is part of a very special collaboration with my best friend, Maggie Van de Loo of Coffee With Maggie. Maggie is a talented creator and coffee connoisseur who invents new drink recipes all the time, including the ones featured in this collection. She is also one of my favorite people to have a coffee date with :)

This collection has been a long time coming! The very first coffee poster I ever created was for Maggie in 2018 and it featured all of her favorite LA-area coffee shop to-go cups. Since then, I’ve painted multiple custom coffee posters and we’ve received lots of requests to make prints, and here we are!
