Introducing: The Puzzles

I’m so excited about these puzzles! Let me share with you a little bit about how they came to be, what sets them apart, and how you can get them!

Designed for puzzlers, by a puzzler.

In 2020, we all developed new indoor hobbies while sheltering in place. Like a lot of folks, I did some baking and played a lot of video games but, most notably, we spent many afternoons puzzling (often with our neighbors who became our social bubble). This year, I took my pandemmy hobby one step further and started designing the kind of puzzles I wanted to assemble. Art puzzles that were fun to put together and pretty to look at. And look at us now!

Chromatic Collage Puzzle

500 eco-friendly pieces

I love that both the box and the puzzle pieces are made out of recycled paper material.

difficulty levels:

Just dipping your toe in the puzzle waters? I recommend starting with The Chromatic Collage. The unique and color-sorted subject matters make it more suitable for beginners or puzzlers who are looking for a faster assembly.

Looking for more of a challenge? Then go for The Watercolor Palette. It has more similar-looking pieces, fewer landmarks, and lots of unusual shapes that an experienced puzzler will love putting together.

Of course, I’m biased, but you really can’t go wrong with either. Or both!

What goes into a good puzzle?

During all my pandemic puzzling, I learned that not all puzzles are created equal. A few key design elements elevate a puzzle from a one-and-done to a repeat favorite. These have been specifically designed for a good time by including:

  • Smooth, matte pieces that are soft to pick up, uniquely cut, and glare free for better visibility,

  • A few landmarks (larger, unique design elements) that you can build off of,

  • Just enough similar looking pieces so that they’re challenging in a fun (not frustrating) way, and

  • High quality, interesting artwork that you’ll want to keep looking at once you’re done!

Cute enough for the coffee table

Each puzzle comes shrink wrapped in a compact box that is small (and nice looking!) enough that you can treat it like a coffee table book. I mean, just look at those two-toned edges! So good!

MADE WITH LOVE

I’ve been so enthusiastic about these puzzles because I know that you are going to love them. They are the culmination of hard work and joy; but, perhaps more importantly, they are a little silver lining in what was a pretty crazy year.

May they bring you as much joy as they have brought me!
