July is World Watercolor Month!
In the spirit of the faux-holiday, I’ll be following along with the 2021 #WorldWatercolorMonth painting prompts.

These mini paintings come matted and framed in a 5x7” picture frame. The total value of these would normally be much more but, in celebration of one of my favorite mediums, I’m discounting them!

Today’s Prompt: Ripple

I’ll be honest, when it came to this prompt, all I could think of was water and pea milk. I typed “ripple” into Google just to get some initial inspiration and saw what looked like the worlds “ripple pepperoni” and I thought that whatever that was, that’s what I’m going to paint. Sounds delicious.
Turns out, what I actually read was Ripple Peperomia, a tropical plant from Brazil that has deep veins in its leaves. Probably a lot less delicious, but still (thankfully) a very cool subject matter.
