July is World Watercolor Month!
In the spirit of the faux-holiday, I’ll be following along with the 2021 #WorldWatercolorMonth painting prompts.

These mini paintings come matted and framed in a 5x7” picture frame. The total value of these would normally be much more but, in celebration of one of my favorite mediums, I’m discounting them!

Today’s Prompt: Momentum

I’ve been thinking a lot about bicycles recently. My boyfriend’s pandemic hobby became cycling and it has been so much fun to watch his passion for it grow, especially since I grew up in Belgium which has such a rich bicycle culture. Between his hobby riding and the Tour de France, I keep getting flashbacks to my childhood abroad. So, I stole his helmet and painted it’s portrait! It’s a simple little piece that’s almost slightly abstracted but it makes me think of adventure, movement, and home.
