July is World Watercolor Month!
In the spirit of the faux-holiday, I’ll be following along with the 2021 #WorldWatercolorMonth painting prompts.

These mini paintings come matted and framed in a 5x7” picture frame. The total value of these would normally be much more but, in celebration of one of my favorite mediums, I’m discounting them!

Today’s Prompt: Dainty

Nothing is more dainty, delicate, or gorgeous than my friend Caroline’s paper flowers! She made this little poppy for me a year ago and it sits in a place of pride on my bookshelf. I’ve painted lots of florals but this is my first painting of a paper flower, I loved the challenge of trying to get the crinkly texture of the crepe paper in the painting.
