An 11x14” fine art print ofThe Creative Process, 2022.

All of my favorite watercolors (and one gouache!) combine to make my dream palette, filled with ample mixing space and tons of color.

It feels very meta but creating The Creative Process was it’s own, unique creative process. I had never painted in this scale in watercolor (the original painting is 18x24”) and there was quite a bit of math in creating this imagined palette. Once I got the template down, I let myself run wild, using bigger gestures and brushes than I normally do and using all the colors I wish I had more excuses to use. The result is a painting that is made out of pure exploration and joy.

I hope it gives you the same excited feeling that it gives me. ☻
